DPF Regeneration System Display View with Jaltest Diagnostics
Jaltest 23.2 was released in July 2023 and as usual lots of awesome enhancements to the user experience. Including the software itself plus more enhancements across all modules like additional makes, models, new wiring diagrams and component information. Every new update makes Jaltest even better. This blog post will cover is the addition of some more advanced Cummins after treatment parameter adjustments. As a former Cummins instructor, one thing that I often preached during training classes is the proper adjustment of your after-treatment regen specifications or regen settings so what I want to show you here is the addition of these settings in the parameter section for a Cummins ISL.
How to Change Cummins DPF Regeneration Settings
To make it easier for you to follow along watch this youtube video
Open your Jaltest software and connect to your vehicle.
Click on manual
Select manufacturer
Select Cummins and for this example, we used an L series.
Select L9 CM2350 (or your equivalent)
Click connect
Once you’re in the diagnostic menu select parameters
From here you can adjust certain settings.
Select exhaust gas after treatment system
Select diesel particulate filter
Optimize your settings for your specific vehicle.
