Updates to Jaltest CV in Update 24.2

The commercial vehicle module saw a series of notable software improvements and models being added to Jaltest’s list of supported vehicles. With brand new vehicle support, remote diagnostic capabilities, and user-friendly adjustments, this update has much to offer for users of the commercial vehicle module. 

Knorr-Bremse Diagnostics Add-On in Jaltest CV

One of the shiniest additions from this update is the Knorr-Bremse Diagnostics add-on integration. While Knorr-Bremse vehicle owners would typically need to purchase additional hardware separate from Jaltest, this add-on allows Jaltest’s hardware to host Knorr-Bremse Diagnostic software. This means the Knorr-Bremse line of vehicles is now supported by Jaltest. Knorr-Bremse owners rejoice!

Knorr-Bremse vehicle owners shouldn’t be the only ones rejoicing though, Jaltest has added a plethora of new models and brands to their supported list. New supported vehicles include:

Other small but notable changes in Jaltest 24.2 include:

• Jaltest OEM RMI now supports DAF branded vehicles.

• Volvo and Renault vehicle owners can now program the LPOS ADAS system, FCIOM front module, and the EAC 1+ compressed air generation and maintenance system remotely within Jaltest. (Only vehicles with V2, V3, V4, and DXi technology).

• IVECO owners can now program and set parameters for power take-offs in the HiTronix (TraXon) transmission and in the VCM Step2 system remotely within Jaltest.

Updates to Jaltest AGV in Update 24.2

Like the commercial vehicle module, the agricultural vehicle kit sees expanded vehicle support with the 24.2 update. In addition, updates have been made to their troubleshooting guides, providing enhanced technical support to vehicle owners. For Jaltest AGV, this update is loaded with renewed remote diagnostic capabilities across various vehicle types.

Repair Smart Guides in Jaltest AGV

Technical information and troubleshooting guides have now been reformatted as SMART guides, making them easier to follow and reducing repair time in the process. With user feedback, new guides have been added to account for user-requested fault codes. Here’s a few examples of new diagnostic repair guides and capabilities within the 24.2 update:

• The EDC MD1 CS069 engine control system of the FPT brand now has a SMART troubleshooting guide.

• TCU transmission, actuations, and calibrations all have SMART troubleshooting instructions available. (5100, 5115, 5130, 7220, 7240 and 7260 models). 

• Wiring diagram configurations are available for the FPT EDC MD1 CE101 (Tier 5) engine control system for the Axion 9X0 (A64) model.

• SBJ, SBK, SBL, SBM and SBN hydraulic systems for the John Deere 6R Series with parameter modification capabilities, now have SMART guide support.

Updates to Jaltest OHM in Update 24.2

Increased brand support has arrived with the Jaltest OHM 24.2 update. Wiring diagram configurations have also been added for relevant engine control systems. They follow a general engine part diagram and therefore do not include specific equipment components. Furthermore, this update has added new diagnostic actions able to be performed remotely through the Jaltest OHM software.

Some examples of coverage added to Jaltest OHM’s vehicle support list:

• PONSSE branded vehicles, such as the R Series crawl excavators, now have certain models supported. 

• DOOSAN, MECALAC and WACKER NEUSON brands have new models supported. 

• KHOLER brand’s model support has also expanded.

• GLOBAL ENVIRONMENTAL PRODUCTS brand has coverage for a select number of vehicles. 

• RAVO brand’s list of supported models has been expanded with this update. 

New diagnostic capabilities include:

• Exhaust gas after-treatment system checks.

• Troubleshooting guides by symptom with an increased model coverage.

• New wiring diagram configurations for various models and brands.

• New brand and model-specific functionalities.

Jaltest’s MHE 24.2 update offers increased brand and model coverage, enhanced diagnostic actions, and more accessible diagnostic information. Jaltest MHE saw noticeable expansions in coverage, with various brands newly added to Jaltest’s supported vehicle lineup, including:
